I was handed an opportunity to run away the last week in August \u2013 I had 6 days to pack and go! It involved the ocean and a cruise ship \u2013 needless to say \u2013 I grabbed it. I had been praying for a way to get alone \u2013 like really alone and unplugged \u2013 and God provided something way more than I was considering for myself.<\/p>\n
God\u2019s got it! I hear myself saying that a lot – it simply means that when facing any kind of uncertainty – there are 5 undeniable truths I must cling to.<\/p>\n
God is who He says He is.<\/strong><\/p>\n God can do what He says He can do.<\/strong><\/p>\n I am who God says I am.<\/strong><\/p>\n I can do all things through Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n God\u2019s Word is alive and active in me.<\/strong><\/p>\n God is perfect. He has a plan. He loves me. Period! All of these things are always true all at the same time \u2013 God\u2019s got it for me is about trusting Him. Relying on Him and choosing hope.<\/p>\n Let Him be Him. Sitting staring at the ocean, I felt so convicted. All I could see in any direction was sky or water. There was nothing else in my line of sight \u2026 just His creation. The vastness of it. The beauty of it. The power of it. The awe of it. I was struck that the ocean in that part of the world was miles deep and I was literally floating \u2013 bobbing around on a 48,000 ton cork.<\/p>\n I have no idea what is coming or what I am being prepared for \u2013 I just know that God is already there. It is not an invitation to kick back and enjoy the ride \u2026. it is an invitation to trust and walk with bold courage.<\/p>\n Romans 8:16-17 Message ~ \u201c[my life is] adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike \u201cWhat\u2019s next, Papa?\u201d God\u2019s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what\u2019s coming to us\u2014an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we\u2019re certainly going to go through the good times with him!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n My world still feels like a hot mess \u2013 but I know who holds it and I know He alone will help me sort it all out! His plan and His timing will be perfect!
