PHilippians 4:8\u00a0popped into my email this morning as the verse of the day. \u00a0God’s perfect timing – isn’t it always. \u00a0Things can get chaotic. \u00a0Life can be challenging. \u00a0News can be depressing. \u00a0Friends can experience loss. \u00a0And God is still good.<\/p>\n
I am in the final week of some commitments which often brings some craziness. \u00a0And my mind is racing a wee bit more than feels manageable, yet I know it is all good. \u00a0It is part of my learning to rely on the Lord at a whole new level. \u00a0Each and every time I am in a season like this – God teaches me more about me as I get to know more about Him.<\/p>\n
So in anything and everything – find what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praise worthy. \u00a0God’s got you if you let\u00a0him.<\/p>\n
Summing it all up, friends, I\u2019d say you\u2019ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious\u2014the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. ~Philippians 4:8-9 The Message<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
